A pivotal part of our faith is our testimony, God has done things in all of our lives and it’s really important that we share them with each other.
Its important for us to remember what God has done for ourselves, these memories remind us of aspects of God’s character and can often help us in times of need or struggle. Our good friend Jeremy Parkes from Living Hope Church shared with us not too long ago about keeping stones to remember key events and testimonies with God through his life.
From another angle it’s really important for us to share these things with others too, they could be part of the puzzle for someone to find salvation.
The first few verses in Luke say this:
“Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us, just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word. With this in mind, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I too decided to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.”
Luke 1:1-4 NIV
